PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid light guide to which multiple physical characteristics such as higher flexibility or decreased gas permeability in accordance with conditions of use can be imparted with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A liquid light guide 1 has such a structure that a hollow part of a support tube 2 is filled with a light guide liquid 3 as a core and that both ends of the core is liquid-tightly sealed by a light-transmitting plug 4. The support tube 2 consists of a multilayer tube produced by co-extrusion of a plurality of resins into a tubular form; and a clad layer 5 is formed and supported to face the hollow part of the multilayer tube. When the support tube 2 is a two-layer tube having an inner tube 2A and an outer tube 2B, the liquid light guide 1 can be designed to have characteristics of both the resin of the inner tube 2A and the resin of the outer tube 2B. |
