PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively and indirectly cool a predetermined part of a vehicle by movably disposing a trajectile having a density greater than that of working fluid, in a closed pipe, and by disposing a resilient member between the trajectile and the bottom part of the closed pipe. CONSTITUTION:When vertical oscillation occurs during running of an automobile 1, a heat pipe 4 also violently oscillates in a vertical direction together with the vehicle body. Accordingly, a trajectile 8 disposed in a closed pipe 6 is thrusted up by means of a resilient member 9. Due to this thrust-up, working fluid 7 is lifted up and is fed to the inner surface of a part disposed in a high temperature heat generation section of a compartment 2 or an electronic device 3. Thus fed working fluid 7 absorbs external heat so as to be evaporated into vapor which flows into the lower section of a closed pipe 6 which is exposed to the outside air so as to be cooled down to a low temperature, and accordingly the vapor radiates heat and is condensed. With this arrangement, the capacity of heat transfer through the heat pipe 4 may be increased, thereby it is possible to effectively cool high temperature heat generating parts of the compartment 2 and the electronic device 3. |
