ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To provide inexpensively an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior electrophotographic characteristics by adding electron attractive molecules having an electron affinity to oxygen in a specified range to a polymer of a linear compd. having p-phenylene residue in a principal chain and a VI b group element in a p-position. CONSTITUTION:Charge transfer capacity of a film of a polymer of a linear compd. having a p-phenylene residue in a principal chain and a chalcogen element in a p-position is remarkably improved by heating the film in an O2-contg. atmosphere. Further, the film is utilized as a photoconductive layer generating a carrier movable by photoexcitation, or as an electrophotographic sensitive body laminating a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer generating a carrier movable by photoexcitation if electron attractive molecules having 1.3-1.9 eV electron affinity are added thereto. Thus, an inexpensive electrophotographic sensitive body having high photosensitivity and high plate wear resistance is obtd.
