A device in connection with a closure of containers 2 for possibly infectious liquids 3 comprising a resilient cap 1 with an opening which in an unstressed state is slightly smaller than the periphery of the opening of container 2 to be closed. Preferably the device is provided with a weakening or micro perforation with a surrounding reinforcement 7 and the device is sufficiently stretchable that a plug 3 may be removed whereby a pipette 10 may be introduced into the container through the weakening or the like 7.
