PURPOSE: To prevent failure by disposing a pneumatic compression motor for driving a flexible shaft in the housing of a swivel cylinder thereby facilitating replacement of an inspection instrument. CONSTITUTION: A flexible shaft 13 is coupled through a holder 53 and a stop frame 52 with a pneumatic compression motor 17 secured to the housing 18 of a swivel cylinder 15. The motor has a compression air joint 54 and rotary drives the shaft 13. Housing 18 of the cylinder 15 supports a screwed holding clip 56, the motor 17 and an exhaust filter 38. At the time of replacing an inspection instrument, output shaft 27 of the cylinder 15 is turned. A feed unit 16 secured to the shaft 27 turns until reaching the level of a lower hole 4, i.e., a switching position. The motor 17 begins to turn a roller through a worm gear 36 and drives the flexible shaft to pass through the lower hole of a steam generator chamber thus replacing the inspection instrument.
