摘要 An additional lateral position emitter (9) is mounted on the measuring truck (4) between the alignment unit (7) and the last measuring truck (5) on the machine, seen in the travel direction, and is connected to the lateral adjusting mechanism (10) and the controller (13) for the aligment unit. The adjusting mechanism (10,11,12) for the track position incorporate a Vernier scale whose spindle is coupled to a gear train, a rotor solidly coupled to the output shaft of the latter and to a scale, and a stator fixed to the housing. On track sections with variable curves, the rotor of the lateral adjustment mechanism is offset from the zero position by a constant amount. This is determined by a formula taking account of the distance between the front truck (2) on the machine (1) and the alignment unit, that between the two lateral-position emitters (8,9) and between the additional emitter (9) and the last measuring truck, the length of the section with variable curves, and the radius of the curve onto which this section joins. The lateral position of the alignment unit in relation to the datum base (6) is determined by a formula taking account of its movement measured by the emitter (8) on the measuring truck (3) immediately adjacent to the alignment unit, the track movement in relation to the datum base measured by the additional emitter, and the distances.
