PURPOSE:To detect the inclination and oscillation of a vehicle body accurately with a small-sized, simple structure by providing a shaft, rotating body, support, detector, etc. CONSTITUTION:This sensor has the shaft 1, rotating body 2 which rotates on the shaft 1 and has no driving system, support 3 which is fixed to the vehicle body 8 and supports the shaft 1 horizontally, detectors 6 and 7 which detect the rotation of the rotating body 2, etc. The friction between the shaft 1 and rotating body 2 is reduced by using lubricating oil, etc., and the rotating body 2 moves smoothly with its own inertial mass without any influence of the motion of the shaft 1. Further, the shaft 1 is fixed on the support 3 so as to the rotating body 2 is rotate or moved relatively to the support 3, and the rotating body 2, on the other hand, is not fixed on the shaft 1, but rotatable or movable. Therefore, the rotary moment of the rotating body due to its internal mass is larger than the rotary moment due to friction against the shaft 1, so that the inclination and oscillation of the vehicle body 8 are detected accurately. |
