<p>PURPOSE:To relax processing speed limitations and to minimize the buffer mean staying time of a cell and the capacity of a buffer memory by making conflict control circuits hierarchic. CONSTITUTION:A permit signal is sent from an input highway side according to a multiplexing request signal and then information is multiplexed while the readout states of pieces of information from buffer memories 1-ij (i=0-m, j=0-n) are controlled so that when the information is sent out to an output highway, there is no conflict. At this time, respective multiplexed signal groups are stored individually in the conflict control circuits 2 and 2-i which are made hierarchic, and those circuit groups 2 and 2-i perform multiplexing control over the information. Thus, the conflict control circuits are made hierarchic, so the processing speed restrictions of the conflict control circuits are relaxed to minimize the buffer mean staying time of the cell and the capacity of the buffer memory.</p> |
