<p>PURPOSE:To determine proper steering assisting force at all times by constituting a control part to drive a motor so as to detect a detected value conformed to the detected value of a first torque detecting means by a second detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Input torque Tin attending on turning operation of a steering wheel 1 is set down to a difference in rotational quantity between an input shaft 2 and an output shaft 3a with a torsion bar 20 twisted and it is detected by a torque sensor S1 and inputted into a control part 6. In addition, the input torque Tin acting on the steering wheel 1 and driving torque of a motor 5 are composed in one and output torque Tout acting on the output shaft 3 is set down to a difference in rotational quantity between an output upper shaft 3a and an output lower shaft 3b and it is detected by a torque sensor S2 or a second detecting means and inputted into the control part 6 which also inputs a car speed signal V in addition to those of the torque sensors S1, S2. Then, the motor 5 is driven by an output signal of the control part 6 via a motor drive circuit 7. Likewise, this driving current is detected by a current detector 8 and inputted into the control part 6 as well.</p> |
