A process for measuring vibrations, especially nervous trembling in living organisms, and a device for implementing said process. The device consists of a sensor (1) which converts the vibrations into an electric signal processed by an electronic circuit (2) making it possible to either display the result (3) or to transmit said result to other apparatus (recording devices, computer, etc.). The different elements, sensor (1), electronic circuit (2) and display (3), may or may not be all contained within the same housing (4). Said process and device serve essentially for measuring the degree of irritability (stress) for use by the general public, for medical checks on patients under supervision for neurological problems (Parkinson's disease, senile trembling, etc.) and for laboratory checks to measure trembling in living organisms, in particular humans and mice, in varied circumstances and especially after injection or ingestion of certain substances (neuro-active medication, food modified by heat or cold, by the addition of food additives, by irradiation etc.). |
