PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of a camber by constituting a post-stage stand containing a final stand so that one of the upper and the lower work rolls or one of the upper and lower backup rolls can be driven to rotate. CONSTITUTION:In a cold rolling mill of an original plate for a surface treatment steel sheet having at least two stands, a pre-stage stand containing at least a first stand is constituted so that both the upper and the lower work rolls 3 or both the upper and the lower backup rolls 2 can be driven to rotate. Also, a post-stage stand containing at least a final stand is constituted so that one of the upper and the lower work rolls 5 or one of the upper and the lower backup rolls 4 can be driven to rotate. Accordingly, by bringing the post-stage stand containing the final stand to single drive, a camber caused by a peripheral speed difference of the work rolls can be reduced greatly. Also, since the operation rate is also improved, the productivity can be improved. |
