PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a container adapted to the packing and transport of fruit and vegetables and enhanced in surface abrasion stability by subjecting three layers each containing polypropylene and a filler to simultaneous extrusion molding using two extruders having screws rotated in the same direction. SOLUTION: The outside surfaces 15,17 of a composite material 1 are the exposed surfaces of the product formed from the composite material and contain an inorg. filler to impart improved abrasion resistance to the surfaces of the product. Polypropylene itself has relatively high abrasion resistance but it is economically disadvantageous to use pure polypropylene as compared with a mixture containing a filler having substantially no ecological problem and capable of being utilized in low cost. The composite material can be reutilized in order to be repeatedly used as a representative article produced from the material such as a fruit crate or container.
