PURPOSE:To connect a paging bell and a caller without operation from the caller even in the absence of a subscriber by storing absence setting information setting the call of a paging bell and the absence from a subscriber terminal equipment and allowing an exchange to access the paging bell of the absent person automatically. CONSTITUTION:The subscriber A of a subscriber terminal equipment 1 dials the number AB of a setting number request to a paging bell 4 and its absence. The main controller 32 of an electronic exchange 3 receives the number AB, then a second dial tone is sent to the subscriber terminal equipment 1. After the subscriber A listens to the tone and dials an access number CDEF to the paging bell 4. The main controller 32 receives it and stores the absence of the subscriber A and the data of the access number CDEF of the pocket bell 4 to a memory device 33. When the subscriber B of the subscriber terminal equipment 2 dials a number to the subscriber terminal equipment 1, the main controller 32 sends the access number CDEF of the paging bell 4 read from the memory device 33 to the paging bell caller 34 and controls the switch 21 to connect the subscriber terminal equipment 2 and the paging bell dialer 34. |
