The invention relates to a device for the presentation of information through optical effect for use in particular with measuring apparatus, of the type which includes at least two co-axial revolving elements, superimposed and mounted rotationally. Said device also includes at least one colour area or frame and/or patterns whose intensity varies along a progressive graduation which starts from a reference line and moves in a circular direction with maximum intensity. Said device is characterized by the fact that it includes at least two elements called ''lower'' (2) and ''higher'' (3). All said elements are movable: in the course of their relative movement, they should determine at least one radial angular sector (A) which has been created by optical effect whose surface varies, thereby making it possible to provide a visual representation of information.
