PURPOSE:To prevent the unevenness of the rotation of a recording drum by rotating and driving the recording drum through a driving mechanism whose rotary fructuation arises plural times while the recording drum rotates once, and setting a time between the timing of writing a picture and the timing of transferring the picture to a transfer medium to be the integral multiple of the times of the rotary fructuation of the recording drum. CONSTITUTION:The recording drum 18 is constituted to be rotated and driven through an epicyclic gear mechanism 40 as the driving mechanism whose rotary fructuation arises plural times while the recording drum 18 rotates once. An angle by which a transfer drum 10 rotates from the writing part of an electrostatic change latent image writing head 22 to a transfer part is set to be 240 deg.. Consequently, since a time required for the transfer drum 10 rotating from the writing part to the transfer part is always fixed, a picture with off-set elongation is transferred onto the transfer drum 10, whereby a picture with few color slurring over its entire surface can be obtained even when multicolor pictures are overlapped. |
