PURPOSE:To remove a restriction on an installing space by a method wherein a semi-circular blowing device communicating with a top plate corresponding to a heat exchanging chamber is provided, the blowing device is formed at a free rotatable part at a peripheral portion, an air blowing port is provided at an upper part, and a blowing port inclination varying means is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a main body 15 is to be installed, the main body is installed such that a side having a suction port 30 is placed in reference to a direction having a sucking spacing and the remaining three sides are abutted against a wall or the like. That is, after installation, a pipe is connected to the main body. At this time, a panel 29a at the spacing is removed and then a pipe is connected to an indoor device together with a pipe 20. Then, air flowed at a suction port 30 passes through a heat exchanger 16, either heated or cooled air passes through an air blower 19 and the air is blown out through a blowing port 26 provided in a semi-circular blowing device 24. At this time, a direction of the blowing port 26 is freely selected due to the fact that the blowing device 24 is rotated at its entire periphery.
