摘要 The invention provides an innovative ozone sanitation system and method for the treatment of agriculture products in silos or storage facilities. The system is characterized by incorporating tubular structures that divide the silo into load sections that can be treated independently. The sections are divided by horizontal gas handling structures that allow the gas to flow vertically through the load, from one structure to the other. The system allows the selection of bi-directional flows that collect the gas from the silo, or distribute the gas into it. Also innovative is the use of slow flow speeds that extend the lifecycle of the ozone molecule, achieving better quality results at a lower operating cost. A key element of the design is the incorporation of an inline ozone generator that allows the recycling of the oxygen rich return gas into fresh ozone. An external mobile ozone generator completes the installation when strong sanitation is required.
