The pneumatic measurement plug has a sensing part (7,8) protruding from one end with approximately the same dia. as the plug (1). The sensing part is forced inside the plug if the measured aperture (14) is faulty, too narrow or too shallow, causing generation of a faulty aperture signal. When the sensing part is forced inside the plug it cuts off compressed air channels (5,6,9,10) to measurement nozzles (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for determining correctness of workpiece bore dimensions. Simple reliable indication of when sensing part is deployed.
