A medicine for treating diseases of the kidney and digestive organ, which contains as an active ingredient a thiazine 1,1-dioxide derivative of formula (I), wherein R1 represents an atom or a substituent selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, haloalkyl, hydroxyl, carboxyl, alkylcarbonyl and ester, and Ar represents either (a) a benzene or naphthalene ring fused to the thiazine ring in the general formula (I), or (b) a heteroaromatic ring selected from the group consisting of thiophene, furan, pyridine, quinoline, isoquinoline and imidazole rings fused to the thiazine ring in the general formula (I). |
