摘要 Provided is a substrate with a lens, including: a substrate; a columnar member provided on one surface side of the substrate; and a lens member provided on the columnar member. While arbitrarily selecting the height of the lens, the lens is formed in a uniform and desired shape. Thus, the distance between the lens and another optical member can be reduced and the pitch of the lens can be reduced.

A method of producing a substrate with a lens, comprising: a first of forming a columnar member on one surface of a substrate wherein the substrate comprises a substrate comprising a through hole, and wherein the first step comprises: laminating a photosensitive resin composition for forming a columnar member from the one surface side of the substrate, and at the same time, filling the through hole, and laminating a resin composition for forming a transparent member from another surface side of the substrate, and at the same time, filling the through hole;exposing and curing a portion of the photosensitive resin composition for forming a columnar member, which matches with the through hole, and photocuring or thermosetting the resin composition for forming a transparent member; anddeveloping and removing an uncured portion of the photosensitive resin composition for forming a columnar member to form the columnar member protruding from an inside of the through hole toward an outside of the one surface of the substrate; a second step of laminating, on the one surface side of the substrate, a photosensitive resin composition for forming a lens member to arrange the photosensitive resin composition for forming a lens member on the columnar member and on the substrate, and curing by exposure the photosensitive resin composition for forming a lens member on the columnar member to form a lens member on the columnar member; and a third step of heating the columnar member for forming a lens member to cause dripping thereof, thereby forming an upper surface thereof into a convex lens surface.
