The strip (1) inserted between the p.c.b. and the housing of the radiotelephone appts. has one edge (4) bent over at right angles for contact with the board, and perforated by partial stamping of the tabs (5) whose resilience makes for more reliable contact. Each tab is about 1 mm long by 2 mm wide and projects about 0.5 mm from the edge (4) between the limbs (6,7) of a U-section. Notches (8) are gripped by parts of the housing. ADVANTAGE - Inexpensive strip is more quickly and easily fitted to give effective earthing of circuit board.
