PURPOSE:To freely utilize purchased information at a favorite place and favorite time by transferring and recording only the information a purchaser designates to and on a portable information card, and selling this card automatically, and turning the information in the information card into a character, a sound or a picture by using a reproducing device by the purchaser. CONSTITUTION:When the information purchaser comes to an information automatic vending machine 2, and inserts and connects the information card 4 provided with a recording medium consisting of, for instance, a RAM and an IC to an information selling part 14, and inserts hard money or paper money in a similar way, and designates an information classification item he wants to purchase, after the old information recorded on the information card 4 is erased, the updated fresh information is transferred and recorded to and on said information card 4. Since the purchaser of the information can carry this information card 4 freely, he can hear and see the information by the reproducing device 5 at the optional place and the optional time by putting the information card 4 in the reproducing device 5. Thus, he can select and purchase only the desired information. |
