The catheter has at the bladder-side end of the catheter tube (10) a non-return valve in the form of a film valve (16). The film valve (16) consists of two thin-wall films which are laid flat upon one another and are glued or welded to one another at their lateral ends. It prevents the return of urine and the flushing of bacteria from the bladder back to the kidney. Drainage issues at the bladder-side end of the catheter are omitted, in order to prevent incrustation phenomena. <IMAGE> |
