PURPOSE:To prevent the heating of an upper case chamber by forming a boss part on the rear part inner surface of the upper case chamber and installing in the boss part a buffle plate having a through for introducing the exhaust and cooling water into the inlet of a lower case chamber from the inlet of the upper case chamber. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust and water which have been discharged from a main exhaust passage and passed through the undersurface side of the partitioning wall 11 of an upper case 1 collide with the rear wall of a buffle plate 6, flowing along the inner surface of the buffle plate 6, and change the direction, while the exhaust and water are introduced into the inlet of a lower case chamber 4 in the lower part, and discharged into the sea through a propulsion machine. Accordingly, the direct collision of the exhaust on the inner surface in the rear wall part of the upper case chamber 1 is prevented, and even the exhaust temperature becomes high because of the shortage of the sucked water quantity of a pump, the rear wall part of the upper case chamber 1 is prevented from being heated, and the generation of the paint burn on the outer surface and the color change of paint can be prevented. |
