The pager calling number and the CAP code are recorded on a memory of a pager receiver and the user's page calling number and the CAP code are displayed by simple key operation using the method. The method comprises steps: (A) recording the decimal CAP code and user's calling number corresponding to the binary address and frame data; (B) displaying the CAP codes and the user's calling number stored on the memory sequentially when no called information occurs. The circuit includes and EEP ROM (5) for storing the exclusive data to discriminating the data corresponding to the pager receiver, a microcomputer (4) for comparing the received data to the stored data to discriminate the proper quality of the received data and for controlling the pager receiver, a LCD (8) for displaying the message and state data, and a key input unit (9) having a lead and a silent key for generating a silent signal to prevent the display of the stored data and an alert tone.
