NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula having the following physical and chemical properties. Color and property: colorless powder. Molecular formula: C20H34O3. Molecular weight: 322 (FD=MS, m/z). Melting point: 183-185 deg.C. Specific rotatory power: [alpha] =+90.6 deg.C (C=0.5, methanol). Elemental analysis (%); C 74.09, H 10.63. Solubility: soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, acetone and ethyl acetate, insoluble in water, etc. USE:A lysophospholipase inhibitor and an immunosuppressive agent. PREPARATION:A strain such as Streptomyces melanousporafaicens MI 614-43F2 (FERM P-10,431) belonging to the genus Streptomyces is cultured.
