PURPOSE:To enable a calculation of line length for all patterns by detecting the existence of branching points with a coordinate calculation for the wiring patterns having the branching points and inserting the points to data for patter route. CONSTITUTION:From the elements A, B of pin connection data 1, a wiring branch point inserting means 3 recognizes that the branching point (g) of element E of the data 2a for pattern route is being connected to an element D of the data 2a. When the existing position for branching point (g) of the element E is seeked on a line segment between the coordinates of respective two points on the element D, it exists on the line segment between two points which are the point of coordinate (b) on a process layer 2 and the point of coordinate (c) on the process layer 2; therefore, two pieces of branching point (g) are inserted between two points of element D. By a wiring net dividing means 4, the data 2b for pattern route are divided at the inserted branching point to produce the route data 2c for finer pattern. By making these data as input data, the data for line length necessary for an electric continuation test are produced by a data producing device for continuation test of multilayer substrate. |
