<p>PURPOSE:To speed up actions to be taken in case of failure of a gas insulated electrical equipment by providing a current transformer in a connecting section located at the side of a gas insulated connecting bus bar, and discriminating a failure within a gas insulated transformer from a failure within the gas insulated connecting bus bar. CONSTITUTION:A gas insulated transformer 24 with a transformer 23 contained in a case 22 filled with insulating gas is connected to a gas insulated connecting bus bar 26 through an insulating spacer 25. In addition, a gas insulated contactor 27 consisting of a disconnecting device 16, a ground switch 17, a current transformer 18 and a circuit breaker 19, is connected to the bus bar 26. And a current transformer 20 and a ground switch 21 are provided in a connecting section 24a located at the side of the gas insulated connecting bus bar 26 of the gas insulated transformer 24. The current transformer 20 reliably detects only a failure within the gas insulated transformer 24.</p> |
