PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet-shaped exothermic body giving a quick temperature rise, and having high mechanical strength and electrical characteristics by positioning an exothermic body comprising a metal foil between two insulation layers of glass fiber cloth, and integrating a whole using silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped exothermic body 2 is provided between two insulation layers 1a and 1b comprising glass fiber cloth. In addition, the aforesaid insulation layers 1a and 1b are impregnated with silicone resin (methyl silicone varnish) and a whole is integrated using a hot press, thereby making a flat exothermic body. The exothermic body so made exhibited excellent characteristics in temperature rise, mechanical strength and electrical aspect. |
