The invention relates to a hollow bar for routing and distributing fluids in general. This hollow bar, consisting of an extruded aluminium section has a central longitudinal slot (11) and, on its sides, grooves in the form of a channel, which are also longitudinal and open outwards. It is connected to other identical bars in a modular construction method with the aid of tubular joints (13) which are pressuretight. Fluid take-up holes are made in the length of the bars and, to these holes may be fastened a plate mounted with a leaktight and removable seal and equipped with a threaded hole to allow at least one tube for distributing and using the fluid to be coupled thereto. Main applications: compressed air or vacuum pipes, pipeline for liquids and passages for electric pumping. <IMAGE>
