INTAKE SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To improve control responsibility by providing second throttle valves driven to open/close with an actuator according to an opening control signal on respective intake port parts of an intake manifold. CONSTITUTION:Butterfly type second throttle valves 11a - 11d rotating around a same throttle shaft 10 to open and close are mounted on respective intake port parts 4a - 4d of an intake manifold 4, and the second throttle valves 11a - 11d are controlled to be into a prescribed opening by driving to rotate the throttle shaft 10 with a servo motor 12 as an actuator provided on one end side of the throttle shaft 10. By opening and closing of the second throttle valves 11a - 11d, an intake air quantity (engine output) can be controlled with good responsibility, and against demand for varying engine output torque independent of accel operation such as recovery of traction or mitigation of speed change shock, the control can be quickly responded, and hence controllability is improved.
