<p>The use of saccharide sulphate, or one of its salts or complexes, as a component of topically used preparations for preventative or therapeutic treatment of dental diseases or conditions of teeth and their supporting tissues, specifically for prevention or therapy of conditions relating to inflammation or dental plaque, a method for the prevention or therapy of these diseases or conditions by topical use of saccharide sulphate, one of its salts or complexes and topical preparation containing a salt or complex of saccharide sulphate for the prevention or therapy of these diseases or conditions. Saccharide sulphate is a polysulfate or hypersulfate saccharide, e.g. Sucralfate, from the aluminium complex of the eighth (acidic sulphate) saccharose, or sodium and/or potassium salt of the eighth (acidic sulphate) saccharose. The preparation may be in a form of a solution, suspension, ointment, paste, powder, jelly, cream, dental stabilizer, periodontal implant, chewable gum, chewable tablet, effervescent tablet, or lozenge.</p> |
