The process is characterised in that it includes the steps of calculation (5) of the products (Dk) of the string (Ak) and of the transitions (Dk), of division of the product data into three parts depending on the values of k, of simple addition of the data of the first part to obtain a sum S0, of calculation for the other two parts, of the respective sums S+ and S- in accordance with the Euler conversion method (7), the interpolation datum S0 + S+ + S- being formed in an adder (8).
