The slit lamp for the laser treatment of the eye comprises a projector (4) wherein an image of the eye to be treated (2) is incorporated by reflection in a beam path (1), a laser (7) arranged so that its beam may be directed to the portion of the eye to be treated and a control unit (10) which, amongst other things, controls the energy of the laser beam. The device is characterized by: in the image incorporated by reflection of the projector (4) the region or regions to be treated are marked, and the control unit (10) directs the laser (7) to the marked region.
