The two halves of the hinge are joined by a link bolt passing through their respective lugs. One hinge half has an arrest plate extending radially to the link bolt, working with an arrest bolt on the other half, and running in the same direction as the link bolt. The arrest plate has various recesses for the arrest bolt which are open radially outwards, and determine different opening positions for the hinge. The arrest bolt (10) in an intermediate position following the closed position automatically adopts a first arrest position against the arrest plate (7) in which it holds in the opening direction. By pivoting in the closure direction it can be turned over the arrest plate (7) into a position in which the plate is allowed to run through. USE - As a door hinge for commercial vehicles.
