PURPOSE:To form explosive musical tones provided with fixed sense and expansive sense by providing the electronic instrument with 1st and 2nd effect applying means to apply an appropriate effect in each component of a musical tone. CONSTITUTION:The electronic instrument is provided with envelope generators 7, 25 for applying expansive sense to a part of the waveform components of reference waveforms generated from waveform data generating means and PAN parameter generators 16, 35 for adding fixed sense to another part of the waveform components. The expansive sense is an effect expressing the sounding sense of musical tones in the whole instrument or the whole position where the instrument is set up and the fixed sense is an effect clearing the sounding direction of the musical tones and can be obtained by the volume balance of both right and left channels or delay time. Consequently, a natural instrument can be completely simulated and an effect capable of sensing that each frequency component in a sound tone is sounded from each different position can be obtained. |
