<p>PURPOSE:To improve the composting efficiency of the device by conveying a material for a fermenter from the inlet to outlet by a conveyor, discharging excess water from the through-hole in the conveyor surface, bottom and side wall and disintegrating the material by a movable agitator. CONSTITUTION:The material is chopped by a crusher 26, then supplied to the material inlet 2a of a fermenter 2 and gradually conveyed to a material outlet 26 by intermittently operating a conveyor 4 at the bottom. Meanwhile, excess water in the material is dropped from a through-hole 10 and accumulated in a sewage pit 18, and the excess water is also discharged from the through-hole 10 in a wall member 12. As the material is traveled by the conveyor 4, the traveling direction is reversed by a roller 4a, and the lower side of the conveyor surface 6 is cleaned by a cleaning brush 14 and the high-pressure water injected from a jet nozzle 16. An agitator 22 is moved at an opportune moment to disintegrate the material, and the material is moved to the right, supplied with air from an air feeder on the bottom member 20, aerobically fermented and gradually composted. Since excess water is removed from the material, the material is not caked even when pressed by the agitator 22, and the material is efficiently composted.</p> |
