PURPOSE:To improve the usefulness of a facsimile equipment by storing picture information, which is designated as address insert information and is transmitted from a facsimile equipment connected to an extension, in a memory as address insert information. CONSTITUTION:Address insert information transmitted from facsimile equipments FI1 to FIn connected to a facsimile store and forward exchange 1 are registered in a memory 6. In this case, operators of extension facsimile equipments FI1 to FIn set the address insert forms, on which address insert information are written to scanners of these equipments FI1 to F1n and input a command for address insert information registration and register numbers (transmission destination register numbers) in the facsimile store and forward exchange of destination telephone numbers, to which address insert information should be inserted, and depresses a transmission start key. Thus, trouble to write or input the address at each time of transmission is saved, and data of signatures, photographs, or the like other than character codes can be registered to improve the usefulness of insert information. |
