PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition for molding, consisting essentially of a polyarylene sulfide resin and common mica capable of maintaining heat deformation and heat resistance, electrical characteristics, etc., and improved in mechanical strength, especially in weld strength, appearance, etc., of molded products. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition for molding is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide resin, preferably having 50-500P, especially 100-300P melt viscosity (310 deg.C at 1200/sec) with (B) 5-150 pts.wt., preferably 10-100 pts.wt. common mica (mucovite-based mica), preferably having 1-65mum average particle diameter and >=10 average aspect ratio, especially 2-30mum average particle diameter and 10-50 average aspect ratio, as necessary, (C) 1-150 pts.wt. other fillers (preferably glass fiber) and (D) 0.1-5 pts.wt. alkoxysilane compound. |
