Provided is a money management system that is installed in a store and manages money, and that is configured by including: a money management device comprising a plurality of accommodation units having an opening and closing part for manually adding and removing money and a lock part for locking and unlocking the opening and closing section and controlling the opening and closing; an input unit for inputting amount information about money to be stored in the accommodation units of the money management device; and a money management terminal for managing, as a bank, the owner(s) of money that has been stored in one or more of the accommodation units of the money management device. Due to this configuration, money can be strictly managed.
