PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain dried persimmons of high and homogeneous quality in high yield, by providing a special perforated plate on the floor surface of a drying chamber, blowing off regulated air therefrom and passing the dried air upward through the drying chamber. CONSTITUTION:A perforated plate 9 is provided on the floor surface of a drying chamber 5 for containing skinned raw persimmons (7e) and drying with air streams to afford dried persimmons. Air regulated to a desired humidity and temperature in a machine room 6 is then blown upward from the perforated plate 9 and made to flow upward in the interior of the drying chamber 5. The perforated plate 9 is provided with many holes having <=10mm diameter to regulate the air so as to provide 8-20mmH2O differential pressure of the air streams. |
