<p>PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to directly input a long apparatus code from a keyboard or the like and to attain easy processing by converting the coordinate information of an apparatus to be retrieved on a CAD drawing into an apparatus code. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input device 6 for selecting/specifying an apparatus to be retrieved in a computer aided design (CAD) drawing is connected to a control device 5, which is provided with a code conversion means 53 for converting the coordinate information of the apparatus to be retrieved which is selected/specified by the means 6 into the apparatus code of the apparatus. Thus, the coordinate information of the apparatus is converted into the apparatus code, a storage device is retrieved based upon the apparatus code and the apparatus information of the apparatus to be retrieved is obtained and outputted to a display means 2. Consequently, the reference of a code book and the input of an apparatus code can be made unnecessary and an information retrieving device to be easily handled can be obtained.</p> |
