<p>PURPOSE:To push out the recording paper rear end remaining on a paper discharge roller each time switching is performed by disposing and forming the tip of a change-over guide in such a way and shape as to scrape slidingly on the paper discharge roller at the time of switching the guide into the upper paper discharge state. CONSTITUTION:A change-over guide 22 is switched into the chain-line upper paper discharge state and the continuous-line lower paper discharge state. The tip of the guide 22 is brought into sliding contact with a paper discharge roller 21 at the time of switching into the upper paper discharge state. Recording paper in the lower paper discharge state loses carrier force when it comes out of the nip of the paper discharge rollers 20, 21, so that its rear end part remains on the paper discharge roller 21. However, the guide 22 is switched into the upper paper discharge state sheet by sheet in the lower paper discharge state, so that the tip of the guide 22 pushes out the recording paper rear end placed on the paper discharge roller 21. The paper discharge state can be thus improved in a simple way.</p> |
