PURPOSE:To confirm an appropriate stereoscopic vision ovserving position easily by an observer by detecting a position where a right picture for a confirmation can be seen when the observer ovserves by a right eye and a left picture for the confirmation can be seen when observing by a left eye as a stereoscopic vision appropriate observing position. CONSTITUTION:When an observer 1 observes a stereoscopic picture displayed in a stereoscopic display device 2, two pictures of a right picture 4-1 for the confirmation and a left picture 4-2 for the confirmation exclusive for the right eye and the left eye of the observer 1 are prepared. These two pictures are indicated to the stereoscopic display device 2, the position where the right picture 4-1 for the confirmation can be seen when observing by a right eye 1-1 of the observer 1 and the left picture 4-2 for the confirmation can be seen when observing by a left eye 1-2 is detected as the stereoscopic vision appropriate observing position. Thus, like the stereoscopic display device of a conventional dual-lens lenticular lens system, the observer does not misrecognize a depth feeling when observing the picture inverted right and left, and the stereoscopic vision does not become impossible, and the appropriate stereoscopic vision can be obtained easily. |
