PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of easily taking out a sheet jammed therein.SOLUTION: A transfer device includes: an inner guide member 19 forming a part of a transfer path 65 on which recording paper 12 is transferred; an outer guide member 18 which is disposed facing the inner guide member 19; a pair of transfer rollers 59 having a pinch roller 61 and a transfer roller 60 which are disposed on the transfer path 65, the pair of transfer rollers 59 which changes its state between a first state where the pinch roller 61 presses the transfer roller 60 and a second state where the pinch roller 61 is separated from the transfer roller 60; and a movable member 90 which may move between a first position where the pair of transfer rollers 59 is in the first state and a second position where the pair of transfer rollers 59 is in the second state. The movable member 90 includes: a contact part 93 which contacts with the pinch roller 61 and changes the state of the pair of transfer rollers 59; and a guide part 91 which forms a part of the inner guide member 19 at the first position (Fig. 7(A)) and is separated further from the outer guide member 18 at the second position (Fig. 7(B)) than at the first position. |
