摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline earth metal silicate phosphor that sufficiently exhibits a flux effect and stable and high light emission in yellow-green to green colors, and a production method of the alkaline earth metal silicate phosphor.SOLUTION: A production method of alkaline earth metal silicate phosphor particles is provided, in which the phosphor is represented by composition formula (1):(SrBaEu)SiO(where a and x satisfy 0.55≤a≤0.70 and 0.05≤x≤0.10) and emits light in yellow-green to green colors. A flux comprising oxides and chlorides of the above constituent elements is used. The flux comprises barium oxide, barium chloride, and silicon dioxide, compounded in a compounding ratio (barium oxide):(barium chloride):(silicon dioxide) of (30 to 60 mol%):(33 to 55 mol%):(5 to 25 mol%); and the flux is added and mixed by 10 to 30 mass% with respect to the total amount of a calcined powder.
