PURPOSE:To obtain a data developing device capable of corresponding to a high resolution and rapid recording device for executing parallel data development from abstract image description by providing this image processor with plural image processing means and a communication means for communicating between the image processing means and a control means. CONSTITUTION:The control means 1 receives abstract image description data such as geometric shape definition and its graphic density from a host interface 2 and sends the received data to image processing means 4-1 to 4-n. On the other hand, the control means 1 receives data developed by the means 4-1 to 4-n and transfers the received data to a printer interface 3. The interface 3 connected to the recording device transmits/receives binary or many-valued data, a recording device control command, and so on. Since one image area is divided by plural image forming means and developed in parallel, data development corresponding to the rapid and high resolution recording device can be attained. |
