The positive stop for the scissor arm joint in a slotted box profile lifter rail uses a drive arm clamping block which slides in the rail. A stub axle support, thrust against the slot wall, can be screwed and thus clamped to the slot flanges. The width of the clamping block (20) not exceeds that (d) of the rail slot, and the block length not exceeds the distance (c) between the inside faces of the box profile webs (19,15). To twist into positive contact with the web faces, the block has opposite side surfaces (25b) which at most extend half across the block and are adjacent other side surfaces (25a), in which diametrically opposed parts are spaced by less than the distance between web inside faces.
