PURPOSE:To prepare the title molding without being accompanied by production problems due to the draw down or quick setting of nylon 46 resin by compounding nylon 46 resin with a modified polyolefin resin having specific functional groups and molding the resulting compsn. CONSTITUTION:Nylon 46 resin is compounded with 1-30wt.% modified polyolefin resin having at least one kind of functional group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl, metal carboxylate, acid anhydride, ester, and at epoxy groups (e.g. an ethylene-alpha-olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer or an ethylene- methacrylic acid copolymer), and the resulting compsn. is molded. Thus, production problems due to the draw down or quick setting of nylon 46 resin are solved, giving a molding excellent in mechanical strengths and heat resistance and remarkably excellent in the resistance to soldering heat when compared with a molding obtd. by a conventional method. |
