PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based surface treating agent which imparts various designability to a surface of an article and with which only an inconspicuous mark (a mark caused by contact with a solvent) is left on a coating film surface even when the surface is brought into contact with the solvent, and an article using the same, and especially to provide a plastic molded article among the article using the same.SOLUTION: A water-based surface treating agent is used, which contains an aqueous polyurethane (A) having a carboxyl group and/or a hydroxy group, a polyolefin wax (B) with a melting range of 140-180°C, and a crosslinking agent (C). More preferably a polycarbonate-based polyurethane is used as the aqueous polyurethane (A), a polypropylene wax is used as the polyolefin wax (B), and carbodiimide is used as the crosslinking agent (C). |
